Our desire for our young elementary children is to have engaging, fun, and meaningful opportunities to grow in their relationship with Jesus as well as in their relationships with one another. Children meet every Sunday Morning at 9:00 a.m. We have a talented and committed group of teachers who make faith in Jesus come alive each week. We also meet monthly for a fun outings and adventure. Our fun events include playing Wii, board games, basketball, foosball, horseshoes, and much more… Come for the fun and stay for the devotion.

In ministry and in the social network of our world, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth graders are known as “tweeners.” The reason they are called “tweener’s” because they are in between elementary age students and jr. high age students. Tweens don't fit with kids, but they don't fit with teens either. That's why we’ve created a ministry just for them! It will be called “Root 456.” 

The goal in Hosanna’s ministry to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders is to simply give them a place to be ministered to…a place they feel they can belong. It would not just be its own Sunday School class, but be a group that together can go to movies, lock-ins, retreats, mini mission trips, San Antonio, etc.  It’s designed to bridge the gap between children’s ministry and jr. high. It will serve as a way for them to build community before they start confirmation and go beyond the four wall of Sunday School. Isaiah 45:6 says, “I equip you, though you do not know me, that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.”
